One of the reasons I love being a therapist is that I get to witness people rewrite the story about who they are.

  • Hello and welcome to my Online Clinic!

My name is Natalia. I am a multilingual psychologist living in Australia. I enjoy working with all neurotypes and have a special interest in conducting psychotherapy with individuals who identify as neurodivergent, for example adults who are (or suspect they might be) autistic and/or who are experiencing ADHD symptoms.

My mission is to help neurodivergent individuals to:

    • develop a positive sense of self
    • build a life that works well for their unique neurotype
    • experience an intrinsic sense of connection to something bigger that is not dependent on "fitting in"

My why is best captured by this quote by Brené Brown from her book Braving the Wilderness: Braving the Wilderness: The Quest for True Belonging and the Courage To Stand Alone: "True belonging doesn't require you to change who you are; it requires you to be who you are."

I am experienced in working with a wide range of difficulties that are common in the neurodiverse community, such as self-esteem issues, chronic health concerns, anxiety, depression, emotion regulation challenges, relationship issues, LGBTQIA+ related difficulties, grief and loss, trauma, chronic pain, sleep disturbance, burnout and workplace issues.

I am passionate about working with my clients at a deeper level, by exploring the emotions and unmet needs underlying their difficulties. Therefore, I practice mainly within an attachment-based framework. Depending on the client's needs, I also find it beneficial to provide practical strategies and to generate new ideas together in session.

I have a degree in Cognitive Neuroscience in addition to my Masters in Clinical Psychology. My knowledge of neuroscience informs my clinical practice and gives me a unique, integrative perspective of the beauty and challenges that come with neurodiversity.

Diversity is one of my core values. All individuals, across cultures, neurotypes, physical abilities, health status, gender identities, sexualities and relationship styles are valued, appreciated and welcome.
