• I offer neurodivergent-affirming psychotherapy aiming to go beyond learning coping strategies. For example, that could mean working together on understanding your current emotions and unmet needs, implementing mind-body practices, identifying your personal values, as well as processing past trauma.

Issues I can help with include:

    • Self-esteem difficulties
    • Trauma (ranging from moderately distressing life experiences to complex trauma and cPTSD)
    • Autistic burnout
    • Chronic health concerns (I am passionate about health psychology and have experience supporting clients who have chronic pain, CFS/ME, fibromyalgia, POTS, automimmune issues, Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome and hypermobility spectrum conditions)
    • Anxiety
    • Depression
    • Relationship and communication difficulties
    • Attachment wounds
    • Emotion regulation challenges
    • Sensory overwhem
    • LGBTQIA+ related difficulties
    • Grief and loss
    • Sleep disturbance
    • Executive funtioning difficulties
    • Workplace issues
    • Challenges with studying and procrastination

I provide psychotherapy sessions via Telehealth only and am able to see clients Australia-wide. Sessions can be conducted in English, French or Romanian.

As my main area of interest is psychotherapy, I do not provide formal diagnostic assessment of autism and ADHD. However, as part of my intake process during the first couple of appointments, I will typically do a screening assessment for autism and ADHD.

Please note: I do not provide medico-legal reports. Additionally, I do not see children, adolescents and couples at this time.

    My therapy approach:

I tend to work with my clients at a deeper level. This means working through the emotions and coping patterns that show up in the present moment, as well as processing the adverse life experiences that have contributed to the issues. My approach is therefore trauma-focused, informed by neuroscience and rooted in attachment theory.

I will combine several evidence-based therapy modalities to create in collaboration with you a treatment plan that is uniquely tailored to your goals and needs. I am a big believer in working together as a team, to ensure that you have agency over the therapy process.

The main therapy modalities I utilise are:

    • Schema Therapy
    • EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing) Therapy
    • Emotion Focused Therapy
    • Psychodynamic Therapy
    • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
    • Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT)

Additionally, due to my dual background in Cognitive Neuroscience and Clinical Psychology, I enjoy drawing from neuroscience research to offer strategies for executive functioning support, as well as to provide body-based strategies (e.g., breathwork, movement) to soothe and regulate the nervous system.

As part of post-identification / post-diagnosis support, if you want to learn more about specific topics related neurodivergence I can recommend some of my favourite books and podcasts.
